【Anime】Saint☆Young Men：聖☆おにいさんがジワる！

みなさんは、日本のアニメを見ますか？

Do you watch Japanese anime？

私は、普段（ふだん）、アニメを見ないのですが、そんな私が「面白い！」とハマってしまったアニメが、今回ご紹介する『聖（せいんと）☆おにいさん』です。

Usually I don’t watch anime, but here is the one I’ve been really into. It’s name is “聖☆おにいさん”, which is called “Saint Young Men” in abroad. I thought it’s funny and interesting, so I’ll introduce it today.

※ The correct pronunciation of 「聖」 is “せい (sei)” , but in this case we intentionally pronounce this kanji as “せいんと” = “Saint”.

Characters　登場人物

登場人物（とうじょうじんぶつ）は、たったの２人。イエスとブッダです。

There are only two characters, Jesus and Buddha.

イエスは衝動（しょうどう）買いが多く、ブッダは堅実派（けんじつは）のキャラクターとして描（えが）かれています。

Jesus often make an impulse buy, while Buddha is described as a steady person.

また、イエスはノリが良く無邪気（むじゃき）な性格（せいかく）で、そんなイエスを温（あたた）かく穏（おだ）やかに支（ささ）えているのがブッダの存在（そんざい）です。

And also Jesus is described as easygoing and innocent character, and it’s Buddha that supports such Jesus warmly and gently.

about Jesus　イエスについて

イエスの茨（いばら）の冠（かんむり）にはGPSとブザーが搭載（とうさい）されており、ブザーを鳴らすと5秒（びょう）で天使（てんし）が飛んできます。

The crown of thorns Jesus wearing has a GPS and a buzzer. When he press the buzzer, angels come flying in 5 sec.

また、髪（かみ）が濡（ぬ）れると茨（いばら）に葉（は）が生（お）い茂（しげ）り、シャンプーハットになります。

Besides when his hair get wet, thorns grow thick and it becomes a shampoo-hat.
